High Point entry fees are due (postmarked) June 1st, 2010.  All points are due for recording
September 30th, 2010.

OVERALL AWARDS

All divisions open to MAHA Youth members.  Horses must be Purebred Arabians or Half/Anglo Arabians.  Each of the 3 main Awards needs a minimum of 3 participating individuals in order to be awarded.  If one category has less than 3 entries, the Award will not be awarded that year.

High Point Open Shows:  All Open/WSCA divisions to count.  Open to Purebred & Half/Anglo Arabians.

High Point Youth/Adult Rider:  Awarded to the youth and adult earning the greatest number of points.  May use more than one horse.  Open and Class A shows combined.

High Point Purebred & Half/Anglo Arabian:  Both Performance & Halter points may be used. Awarded to the horse with the highest points earned by the same horse/rider combination. Rated shows.

There will also be division Awards for each age/discipline.

OPEN SHOWS:  Saddle Club Association approved.

CLOSED SHOWS:  A show that, regardless of its rating, judge, approvals or any other factor, limits entries based on one or more of the following:
1. Payment of additional nomination fees, such as futurity or maturity, other than MAHA sponsored programs or
2. Membership in the sponsoring organization other than MAHA or AHA.
3. 4H, Minnesota Breeders Fall Fest Show, and similar shows are CLOSED SHOWS or
4. A show that is restricted to horses registered in a breed organization other than the Arabian Horse Registry of America or the AHA Half-Arabian or Anglo-Arabian Registries.  Breed organizations as described above include, but are not limited to, the National Show Horse Registry and the Pinto Horse Association of America.

All classes within a CLOSED SHOW are CLOSED CLASSES and will not count in High Point.

FEE SCHEDULE:  $8.00 each Division/Horse in either of the High Point systems. For example; a youth showing 2 different horses needs to sign up separately with each horse for points to count.

Reporting date is determined by postmark date.  All points and fees must be mailed to:

NOTE:  All points earned must be reported on the official recording form, or reasonable facsimile thereof.
