Arabians Unplugged 2010 Circuit High Point Program
- Points will accumulate at all qualifying shows and only at qualifying shows
- All classes open to the Arabian, Half or Anglo Arabian horses from qualifying shows will count including classes at qualifying shows open to all breeds.
- Points are awarded as follows: 1st=6, 2nd=5, 3rd=4, 4th=3, 5th=2, 6th=1
- If class is open to all breeds, count placing within entire class, e.g. 3rd place gets 4 points regardless of the breed of the 1st and 2nd place horses
Only circuit shows to count- No cost to participate
- All points sent in automatically by show, no forms to fill out
- Horse and rider combination in all divisions
- Champion and Reserve will be awarded in 2010
- Awards will be presented at banquet in January 2011
- There are four divisions:
- English Pleasure
- judged on horse
- all classes to count (junior horse, maiden, AOSC, etc)
- hunt or saddle
- Western Performance (pleasure and bridlepath)
- judged on the horse
- all classes (junior horse, maiden, AOSC, etc)
- Halter/Breeding/In Hand--all classes where the horse is judged
- Equitation classes (includes showmanship) all classes where the rider/handler is judged except walk/trot-jog, academy, schooling
- No points for specialty classes (driving, costume, reining, trail, dressage, games, etc)
- No walk/trot, lead line, schooling or academy classes to count
- Academy classes are those restricted to exhibitors participating in a lesson program and riding horses owned by the riding school.
- Schooling classes, regardless of what they are called, are classes that allow schooling equipment and/or are NOT judged using the same specifications (except for attire rules) as the other performance classes. Attire rules may be waived and the class will still count for high point.
