MAHA sponsors a high point award for the MAHA Youth competing in both rated and open shows. The kids compete for great awards such as a custom embroidered jacket or neat bags just perfect for taking to the shows. Pat Forehand coordinated the program.
This year Tamsen Hutton, with her horse RM Sebastian, earned the overall High Point Award. Tamsen won the 13 and Under Equitation for both rated and open shows and Western and Hunt Pleasure at the open shows. Congratulations Tamsen!
Other youth picking up year end awards included Emily Simonson and Elusive Fantasy for 13 and Under Halter in both Rated and Open shows and the 13 and under award in Western Pleasure, rated shows. Alyse Fields and Marrinn took the 14 to 17 Hunter Pleasure award and Jeff Johnson on Rhegis won the 14 to 17 year old Western Pleasure.
